David Lewis, Ph.D., is a highly experienced patent agent having decades of expertise in patent preparation and prosecution. His extensive background spans utility, design, and reissue applications across a diverse array of technologies including magnetic recording devices, cryptography, encryption, databases, optics, computer security, inventory systems, imaging devices, medical devices, and numerous other fields.

David has worked as a patent agent since 2004, following successful tenures at prominent intellectual property boutique law firms. His career began at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he served as a patent examiner gaining valuable insight into the patent examination process.

With a Ph.D. in Physics from The George Washington University, David brings a strong technical foundation to his patent work. His academic background is complemented by industry experience as an R&D Engineer at Read-Rite Corporation and various research positions at academic and government institutions.

David has authored numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on topics such as micromagnetic modeling and calculations.
