Jasmin was raised in New Jersey, and attended University of California, Riverside receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Affairs. In her second year as an undergraduate, Jasmin initiated into Phi Alpha Delta, a Pre-Law Fraternity that helped further her interest in pursuing a legal career. As a core member of the Director of Membership Committee, she developed public speaking and communication skills. Additionally, she worked at the UCR School of Business as a Student Assistant gaining proficiency in Microsoft Teams, professional communication and responsibility. During the summer of 2021, she interned at an immigration firm where she gained insightful knowledge about the foundations of Immigration Law. She plans to further her education through attending Law School in the near future to pursue a JD degree in International Law, concentrating on the modern legal and political approaches taken in South Asian countries.
