Cyndi is a San Diego area native with 30 years of experience as a U.S. and foreign patent specialist working for small and large international law firms and a private company specializing in genomics technologies.

Cyndi’s areas of expertise include:

All aspects of U.S. patent prosecution including the preparation of U.S. application filing documents, Application Data Sheets, inventor Declarations and Assignment documents; responses to Office Actions; Information Disclosure Statements; Sequence Listings; and preparing Issue Fee payments and Maintenance Fee payments;

All aspects of foreign filing including PCT application filings and supporting documents; direct foreign filings; sending national phase instructions to worldwide foreign associates; following up on required documentation for certain countries; preparing and sending European validation instructions to European associates; and arranging for payment of renewal fee payments; and

Reviewing incoming mail from various patent offices and foreign associates; entering important dates into the docket system; and tracking important due dates and following up accordingly.
